Purpose of the Document

A short cover-letter template for outreach to potential contractors, sent together with a PDF version of the abstract technical specification (abstract-platform-res-en.md). The letter is addressed to the contractor's technical specialists and asks for a reply to the same e-mail address from which the request is sent.

Subject

Request for a preliminary estimate for development of a B2B travel-industry platform

Body

Hello,

We are reaching out to your organization as a potential contractor for the
development of a global, top-tier B2B platform for the travel industry.

Attached, please find the brief technical specification (abstract layer),
covering 11 sections that convey the essence, goals, architectural scale,
and key requirements of the project at the pre-NDA stage. The document
is shaped as a standalone summary intended for preliminary evaluation
by your technical specialists.

At this stage we are asking only for a preliminary estimate:

* an approximate understanding of the scope of work;
* a ROM estimate with a price range;
* an approximate timeline to the MVP version;
* an approximate technology stack.

The expected response time is up to 5 business days, by reply to this same
e-mail address. Once your preliminary estimate is received, we will move
to consider NDA signing and the transfer of the full technical
specification.

If clarifying technical questions arise while reviewing the document,
please send them to this same address as well.

Thank you for your attention and your time.

Kind regards,

Notes on Usage

  • Subject line — minimal extra words, conveys the request in the first line.
  • No extra rhetoric — three concise paragraphs to the point; this is sufficient for technical specialists to gauge how serious the request is.
  • The 4-bullet list — mirrors section 11 of the abstract specification, aligning expectations on the letter side with the attached document.
  • 5 business days — taken from the abstract specification, so there is no inconsistency.
  • Reply to the same address — fixes the communication channel and removes ambiguity about where to send the estimate.
  • Signature with role — adds legitimacy to the request, especially for upper-mid-tier contractors.
